Mobile Bartending Services - Frequently Asked Questions

We will provided TABC certified bartender(s) Who are knowledgeable in creating drinks to your quests specifications! We will also provide proper bar tools: shakers, strainers, jiggers, cutting board, wine/bottle openers, coolers, and (cups and ice-additional costs)


We require our staff to present themselves in professional attire... typically we wear all black (stylish and tasteful) 

Of course, if your event is a 80's theme party, our team will bust out our leggings and Madonna outfits! 


We are based out of Austin, TX. Our general rule of thumb is that we travel anywhere within a two-three hour radius, but don’t be afraid to reach out if you are a bit farther! We charge a $0.67/mile travel fee (National Average) or any location greater than 30 miles away; this accounts for gasoline, tolls & extra traveling time to get to you! 



We require a $250 non refundable retainer fee for packages and $500 non-refundable retainer fee on packages over $3000 upon booking. We can accommodate a payment schedule, final payment due 2 weeks before the event. Bookings cancelled within 60 days of the event are not eligible for a refund of your service.

In the event of inclement weather we will do our best to accommodate if you wish to reschedule. The client is responsible for any outdoor tents if necessary. 5 O'clock Somewhere atx does not provide any tents or other gear in the event of rain. 

We accept cash, Venmo, or credit card payments via our online invoices with Square.

Yes! We carry general and liquor liability of 1 million insurance and all staff are TABC certified We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request.

For any permits that may be needed it is the clients responsibility to secure those. Generally, if your event is held on private property you will not need to secure any permits. If you have any questions, please email us, or reach out to your local municipality or police department regarding permitting.
